Hey, I’m Heather! The creator and owner of Sundial Studio.
I’m an artist, vintage lover, writer, creator, hobby photographer, and lover of all things secondhand. I pride myself on living authentically, consuming slowly & acting with intention.
I’ve been creating, collecting and curating since I was a kid; always doodling and drawing, writing stories, gathering bits from nature to bring back to my room, and constantly observing environments from the world around me and mirroring what felt right in my own wardrobe & home.
I feel called to be creating consistently in life. I love processing my emotional experiences through poetry, photography, drawing and painting. I enjoy making jewelry, sewing, and knitting. I love experimenting with new mediums and have most recently started block printing.
My love for vintage & secondhand runs in my blood! My parents were both antique lovers and we’ve been going to antique malls, auctions, thrift stores and yard sales since I was a kid. My parents owned an antique store in Montana in the 80s, and my dad has been working on old cars ever since I can remember. I feel passionately about preserving and sharing vintage pieces, as well as constantly minimizing the environmental impact of my daily actions through buying most things secondhand.
I feel drawn to both classic staples and unique pieces that will make a statement in your wardrobe and start a conversation. I love the quality of vintage pieces and understand that most vintage items outlive similarly priced fast fashion pieces from today. My goal is to save quality items from the landfill and help others gain access to pieces that will last!
